Abstract

The probabilities of FR and CEs within 2 years after the initial presentation can be calculated using outcome prediction models for pediatric patients with DCMP. Medical treatment with close follow-up is advisable for patients who are deemed more likely to experience FR than CEs, while early registration for HTPL and aggressive employment of LVADs is recommended for patients who are deemed more likely to experience CEs than FR.
