Abstract
GRAPHICAL ABSTRACTThe sulfur and metal-type content in MoP-S/γ-Al2O3-MgO, NiMoP-S/γ-Al2O3-MgO, and NiP-S/γ-Al2O3-MgO influence the reaction pathways for hydrotreating fatty acids, improving the dispersion of MoS2 on phosphide “mixed phosphidic-sulphidic species” and increasing the number of Lewis and Brönsted sites, which correlates well with the HDO and HDCx-HDCn pathways.
