Abstract
In the last years very many electronic devices were built for helping tennis coaches and players. Are three categories of devices: first of them are the devices used for giving the tennis players the opportunities to train in similar conditions as the tournaments, second devices are made for video guidance and the third electronic devices are for analyzing the body and racquets movements. All these three types of devices are used for coaches and players feed-back during the training sessions and match competitions. Also they are helping the player to see first of all the technical mistakes, their efficiency factors and to improve their game.
In this research we used a Babolat system that includes an integrated microchip and the Babolat Play software. This is a case study and we used this system for 2 month in 24 tennis lessons and recorded the player trainings and matches. The lessons were held indoor on clay courts, three times per week and the duration of the lesson was between 1 hour and 2 hours. The analyzed factors were the effect of the ball, speed of the ball, the ball impact with the player racquet strings and the rate of the lessons. The most important advantage for using this device is that the racquet does not change its weight even the microchip is integrated in the player racquet.
We find out that this feed -back improves player hitting rhythm, his swing preparation for hitting efficiency of his technique and also evaluate the density of the tennis lessons.
