Abstract

"The purpose of this article is primarily to present the innovativeness of methodological solutions used during stationary trainings carried out under the auspices of CEPOL. In addition to presenting the subject of the specificity of CEPOL’s training offer, the principles that the Agency follows during the implementation of courses and the challenges faced by experts implementing training content, the key substantive layer is the demonstration of selected teaching methods that fit into the title novelty permeating the vision of educating representatives of uniformed services and state security authorities at the level of the European Union. The process of European integration, the need for cooperation between law enforcement officials, including judges and prosecutors at the international level, as well as the standardization of selected areas of law, which enforces the need for a uniform interpretation of regulations, exchange of experience, practices and knowledge between entities in EU countries, is also a challenge from the point of view of training and education of these entities. International training, carried out as part of the broadly understood educational activity of CEPOL, allows for the creation of professional state authorities trained in knowledge, skills and competences responsible for order, public security and the application of law in democratic countries. The introduction of innovative training methods, based on the decentralization of the trainer and the inclusion of participants in the training process, allows for the implementation of training objectives at the highest level."
