Abstract

The article focuses on the activity of a doctor, considered from the standpoint of professional ethics. The practice of forming and controlling the implementation of the ethos of a doctor is shown as an instrument of power and autonomy of the professional community in the work space. The main sources of the study were texts codifying the ethics of the profession and implementing international medical standards in Russian context.
