Abstract
The study carried out points to the need for quality nursing care during low-risk prenatal consultations in Primary Care, with the aim of promoting health, ensuring the necessary care for a healthy pregnancy, birth and postpartum period for the pregnant woman and the baby. Furthermore, a set of actions is observed that results in guaranteeing women's health, as pregnant women must know their rights and clarify their doubts about pregnancy, the right to a companion and the changes experienced during this period. It is remarkable that in addition to technical action, the nursing team is responsible for promoting a relationship of trust with the pregnant woman, in order to facilitate adherence to prenatal care in the first trimester of pregnancy, and quality monitoring in all consultations. A brief bibliographical review was carried out, using renowned research platforms. The objective was to search for data from pregnant women in the Family Health Strategy I Dona Andrezina, about the beginning of prenatal care and the age of pregnant women indirectly through tables provided by the nurse manager of the unit, preserving identity and personal data , the research result shows satisfactory data, since 91.67% of pregnant women inserted to prenatal care in the first trimester, as recommended and, in relation to age most of the percentage is in the usual risk parameters while 16.67% had late pregnancies.
