Abstract
Bone fixation plays a crucial role in craniofacial surgeries, being essential for the correction of cranial and facial deformities, as well as for stabilization after trauma or reconstructive surgery. This article presents a systematic review of the different bone fixation methods used in craniofacial surgeries, including plates and screws, rigid internal fixation, external fixation and biological techniques. The aim is to compare the efficacy, safety and clinical outcomes of these methods, providing valuable insights to guide clinical practice.
