1. Yang Sao Xiong is Assistant Professor in the Asian American Studies Program and School of Social Work at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His research examines how U.S. immigrant groups seek political incorporation by mobilizing collective action and interacting with the political system.

2. Nengher N. Vang is Assistant Professor in the History Department at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. His research interests include US-Asia relations, American imperialism, immigration, social movements, and transnational politics of Asian Americans with emphasis on the politics of Hmong Americans.

3. Chia Youyee Vang is Professor of History at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where she teaches twentieth-century U.S. history in the world. Her research focuses on refugee migration and transnational and diasporic communities, in particular those that resulted from the American war in Southeast Asia.
