Antonio Damasio, a Fellow of the American Academy since 1997, is David Dornsife Professor of Neuroscience and director of the Brain and Creativity Institute at the University of Southern California. He is the author of “Descartes' Error” (1994), “The Feeling of What Happens” (1999), and “Looking for Spinoza” (2003).
2. Hanna Damasio, a Fellow of the American Academy since 1997, is Dana Dornsife Professor of Neuroscience and director of the Dornsife Cognitive Neuroscience Imaging Center at the University of Southern California. She is the author of “Lesion Analysis in Neuropsychology” (1989) and “Human Brain Anatomy in Computerized Images” (1995), the new edition of which was published in 2005.
