Abstract

Abstract An artist (Brad Miller) and an engineering researcher (Diego Rosso) met at a common point: their interest in bubbles. Miller is a visua artist whose interest in bubbles has evolved over several decades. He has developed unique ways of capturing bubbles’ mesmerizing and mysterious patterns both photographically and, more uniquely by making the high-resolution photograms of bubbles shown in this paper, allowing for detailed observation of their geometry, etc Rosso has observed the physical laws at work in these bubble patterns and distills the essence of these laws in this manuscript. This paper highlights some of their shared thoughts about what is revealed through these images.
