THE CROW ON WORK: THE OTTOMAN'S TEST WİTH CROWS

Abstract

Abstract: It is neccessary to consider the invasion of crow flocks as a natural disaster. As a matter of fact, it is not possible to predict this and predict its possible consequences. We can only say that there was a situation that required the Ottomans, who had experienced a similar disaster, to adapt to the problem quickly with their generally valid activities. In this study, which we aim to provide information about how the Ottoman local administrators followed the crow flocks in the face of such a problem, what measures they tried to take, how to cope with the problem and how the financial burden was met, the years 1899 and 1911, which we identified and classified in the Prime Ministry Ottoman Archives. Retail documents between the years gave clues to the casualties caused by the crow's times.
