Abstract

Learning Objectives Evaluate malignancies for which children with Down syndrome are at increased and decreased risk in order to screen appropriately. Analyze the clinical and biologic features of transient myeloproliferative disease and acute megakaryoblastic leukemia in children with DS. Determine the clinical and biologic features of acute lymphoblastic leukemia in children with DS and outline treatment strategies.
