Abstract
Cricket a gentleman’s game of bat and ball played between two teams of eleven players each is one of the oldest sports which originated in the late 16th century in south-east England. Cricket is now played in more than 100 nations throughout the world is 51.28% of the countries play cricket around the world. The study aimed to analyse cricket teams, Batsman, and Bowler’s performance of those who participated in the Inter-Collegiate Cricket Tournament 2021-22 of Navsari Agricultural University. For the present study, the subjects were male players of various teams that participated in the Inter-Collegiate Cricket Tournament 2021-22 of Navsari Agricultural University. For the present study following variables were used Balls Faced, Runs Scored, Run Rate, Wickets Fallen, Heights of Runs Scored by Batsman, Batting Average of Batsman, Batting Strike Rate of Batsman, Bowling Economy of Bowler, Bowling Average of Bowler, and Bowling Strike Rate of Bowler. It was concluded that most of the matches were won by a lesser number of fall of wickets and when players hit more runs which means that the batting performance of the teams was better than bowling performance.
