Abstract
The application of composite materials in shipbuilding provides undeniable advantages in the mass characteristics of structures. However, the achievement of these advantages is associated with the reasonable application of design methods for such structures. The article discusses the features of the most commonly used standards and rules, compares the results of test calculations, and gives recommendations for improving Russian regulatory documents. The task was set to create software designed to calculate structures made of composites for the Russian market.
