Abstract
A questionnaire completed by 630 Senegalese secondary school students requested their opinions for various periods in the life of an individual (childhood, adolescence, adulthood, old age) of happiness, freedom, financial security, health, etc. Periods given the most favorable comments were adolescence and adulthood, while the most unfavorable comments are reserved for old age.
