Abstract
Correlations of Hand Test scores with Binet scores for 60 grade school children (age 8.0 yr.) produced an R of .49, retaining variables DES and DIR. Correlations with WISC scores for 112 children (age 10.5 yr.) produced an R of .47, retaining REP, AOS, BALL, and ACQ. Significant variables paralleled those found in previous studies with brain-impaired and retarded subjects but caution was urged in using the Hand Test to estimate the intelligence of children.
