Abstract
The present study investigated the prediction that interpersonal trust would be related to suggestibility. Rotter's Interpersonal Trust Scale was used as a paper-and-pencil measure of trust, and the Barber Suggestibility Scale was the measure of suggestibility. The hypothesis was confirmed in that interpersonal trust was significantly correlated (.19) with scores of 82 college women on Barber's Suggestibility Scale, although the effect was small.
