Abstract
Using flash durations of 2, 4, 8, 16, and 32 sec., reproduced estimates of duration as well as of the time gap between stimuli were obtained for 23 Ss under three experimental conditions. In general, all the durations were overestimated in all the three conditions. Time gap in Exp. I was fairly constant but was greater as well as less than some stimulus magnitudes in Exp. II. A fixed time gap (Exp. III), however, produced the same trend as in Exp. I.
