Review of Recent Research on Hypnotic Learning

Abstract

Hypnosis as a psychological tool in learning has generated controversial findings and conflicting opinions among current psychologists in both clinical and experimental settings. These findings are presented, illustrating the main points of the controversy, followed by a methodological critique which emphasizes the salient features of the disagreements.
