Abstract
A test measuring a person's perception of college environmental characteristics was administered to 170 randomly selected students from a freshman college population of over 900. The sample yielded four groups: 19 students who were undecided about a vocation, 35 students who had made a vocational decision, 30 students who expected to graduate with B or better, and 30 students who expected to graduate with a C average. The differences in perception of environmental characteristics were examined and described for these subsamples.
