Abstract
To derermine whether the performance of kindergarten children who score poorly on the Bender-Gestalt could be improved by training, protocols of 32 children from the kindergarten of a Chicago public grammar school who performed most poorly on an initial administration of the Bender were examined for change in number of errors. Protocols clearly indicate that the training resulted in significantly improved Bender scores. Poor performers who initially had a large number of rotation errors and poor performers with a large number of non-rotation errors showed about the same over-all improvement in subsequent Bender performance.
