An Updated Bibliography of Picture-Memory Studies

Abstract

To update a bibliography published earlier by Standing, et al. (1972) a detailed literature search was made. This effort yielded 703 substantial references concerning picture-memory studies listed in three different sections of this paper, that is, one for published papers, one for dissertations, and one for reviews. This updated bibliography covers the period from 1973 through mid-1984. In addition to this updated bibliography, an account of conspicuous trends which reflected the entire set of references in this bibliography and some comments or evaluations of these references were given.
