Abstract
This study is an empirical investigation of how 184 college students have obtained their knowledge of sexual matters and whether pornography functioned as an important educational source. Findings are contrasted with those of three other empirical studies. Present findings, much like the others, appear to indicate that pornography does not play an important role in the dissemination of sexual information; peers appear to be the primary source of information. However, there are certain statistically significant differences between the sexes when reporting the extent of sexual information gleaned from pornography.
