Abstract
Effects of two faking instructions on Eysenck Personality Inventory scores were investigated. With both instructions, scores were significantly decreased on Neuroticism and significantly increased on Lie. The “attempt-to-conceal-faking” instruction produced significantly smaller increases in Lie but at the expense of a significantly smaller decrease in Neuroticism.
