Abstract
The results from the second phase of a behavioural selection experiment designed to produce active and inactive strains of Drosophila are reported. Data show marked phenotypic differences have been produced as a result of the selection. Relaxing selection after 94 generations did not result in experimental populations drifting back to the control level; thus considerable inbreeding has taken place.
