Abstract
This study concerned the characteristics of a set of scores on the Goodenough-Harris test, obtained from 213 spontaneous drawings of a person, done by one child between the ages of 4.6 and 10 yr. The correlation of scores with age, the mean and standard deviation of IQs and the test-retest reliability are presented. The temporal fluctuations in mean scores and mean IQs suggested important periods of acceleration or of slowing down of development. From these data within the limitations of the results, some recommendations are made on the way the Goodenough-Harris scores should be interpreted for an individual case.
