Abstract
It was hypothesized that handwriting would reflect psychosexual differences in self-gender representations. The letter “I” was examined as potentially most representative of self for the ratio of height to width in samples of 14 male and 25 female university and 20 male and 16 female high school students. As predicted, this ratio was significantly more elongated for the men than for women in both samples.
