Abstract
The 16 PF and Group Personality Projective Test were administered to 128 college freshmen and sophomores enrolled in an introductory psychology course. There were no significant correlations between the 16 PF and Group Personality Projective Test scales. Nor were there any significant correlations between individual subtests and sex. One correlation with age was significant. For the 16 PF, 19 significant intercorrelations were found and two significant correlations within scales of the Group Personality Projective Test. Questions concerning concurrent validity are raised by the results as are questions relating to the purity of the 16 PF factors.
