Abstract
Three graphoanalysts judged specimens of handwriting for five personality traits: attention to detail, domineeringness, persistence, self-consciousness, and stubbornness. The average inter-judge correlation was .78. Reliability is, therefore, established. Advantages of handwriting analysis that enhance its potential validity are pointed out, especially its vulnerability to faking and artifactual changes.
