Abstract

This paper mainly studies the mechanism of moving head pattern phenomenon of high refresh rate column architecture display products after the refresh rate is reduced. The mechanism is explained mainly from two aspects. First, the brightness of the positive frame and the negative frame is different, and the frame loss during the moving of the head cannot average the display frames. Second, when the VCOM is adjusted to the best, theoretically the positive and negative frame light and dark are the same, and there will be no moving head pattern, but when the frequency is lowered, the leakage current difference of positive and negative frame is amplified, and the brightness difference of positive and negative frame is amplified, and the moving head pattern is obvious. Due to the voltage difference between the three terminals of TFT during positive and negative frames. The difference ultimately leads to direct leakage current of positive and negative frames. This leads to a difference in brightness between positive and negative frames.
