Early‐onset idiopathic pyoderma gangrenosum

Abstract

AbstractNeutrophilic dermatoses are autoinflammatory disorders characterised by sterile cutaneous inflammatory neutrophilic infiltrates. This group of diseases is rare in infants and children, where sepsis is the diagnosis of exclusion. This report focuses on the clinical presentation, investigation and management of infants with idiopathic pyoderma gangrenosum. It should allow for a better appreciation of the disease and a more patient‐focused approach to its diagnosis and management.
