Abstract

AbstractA base‐free and efficient tandem one‐pot α‐ketoamide bond formation via tert‐butyl hydroperoxide (TBHP) mediated oxidative coupling of α‐hydroxy acetophenones with primary and secondary amines under Ag(I)‐N‐Heterocyclic carbene (Ag(I)−NHC) catalysis in water was developed herein for the first time.
