Abstract
AbstractThe copper‐catalyzed coupling of thiols with alcohols was achieved under air atmosphere. The reaction proceeded smoothly in the presence of a base such as Cs2CO3 or Rb2CO3 affording sulfinic esters in good yields. Furthermore, disulfides were also available in the procedure. Both sulfide‐groups on disulfide were efficiently consumed.
