Abstract
Abstract
Defects in DNA repair pathways result in a number of disorders, many with skin involvement, commonly photosensitivity, cancer and premature ageing. This chapter outlines some of these disorders, including xeroderma pigmentosum, Cockayne syndrome, trichothiodystrophy, ataxia telangiectasia, Fanconi anaemia, and Muir–Torre syndrome, highlighting the common cutaneous manifestations.
