Abstract
AbstractIn this article, the robust sampled‐data PID controller design for regulation control of second‐order nonlinear systems with output delay is studied. With the finite difference method, the sampled‐data PID controller is designed utilizing the sampled delay output. A sufficient condition is proposed to guarantee the exponentially regulating of the nonlinear system output to a set‐point. Then the corresponding robust sampled‐data PID controller is designed by solving a linear matrix inequality feasible problem. Furthermore, the robust design of sampled‐data PID control for regulation control of second‐order nonlinear systems against output delay is also given. The control performance comparison and the Monte Carlo simulation are given in numerical examples to illustrate the efficiency of the main results.
