Abstract
AbstractThe freedom‐from oppression model is an integrative conceptual and practical framework for addressing the deleterious impact of oppression on clients. Applying multiculturally grounded counseling strategies as well as various techniques across three existential‐humanistic stages and 12 cognitive intervention steps, the proposed model supports counselor and client discovery of psychological freedom‐from oppression.
