34‐1: Invited Paper: High Throughput TFT Technology for In‐situ DNA Synthesis and Signal Sensing

Abstract

By using the thin‐film transistor (TFT) technology, the oligo nucleotides array has been proved to be achieved in‐situ on a throughput matrix backplane of 16*16, with oligonucleotide lengths reaching 150mers, and the yield of each oligo has surpassed tens of fmol per pixel. This TFT‐based methods effectively balance the synthesis throughput with the loading capacity and offer a significantly lower cost for higher quality DNA for various applications in molecular biology.
