Abstract
Differences in visual comfort between comfortable and uncomfortable luminance were explored on a smartphone. The results revealed that tiny changes in CFF and microsaccade parameters (pupil diameter, amplitude, and peak velocity) were presented at the comfortable luminance, inducing less eye discomfort. Particularly, CFF is an effective indicator of visual comfort and fatigue.
