Abstract
In‐cell ambient color sensors are best suited for phones with full‐screen LCDs. However, it faces its technical challenges, how to accurately estimate illuminance and color temperature based on non‐colorimetric RGBW signals. To this end, an optimized angular response optical design is proposed, and the color accuracy is improved by light source identification and weighted polynomial regression.
