Abstract

We report our progress on monitor‐sized, dimensionally and thermally stable mini‐LED backlights enabled by a patterned glass diffuser (PGD). One PGD based backlight, while being thinner, shows a higher luminance than a reference mini‐LED backlight. Another all‐in‐one PGD enhances a glass circuit board based mini‐LED backlight.
