IL‐5, CCL2, and CXCL8 in sinus mucous are higher in patients with AERD relative to aspirin‐tolerant patients with CRS

These mediators are pleiotropic, leading to widescale inflammatory processes contributing to AERD

AERD is not only a T2 disease but heterogeneous: this may explain the refractory nature of AERD
