Abstract
AbstractThis work discusses the derivation and numerical implementation of an elastoplastic model of textile membranes at finite strains. The mechanical model accounts for the anisotropic hyperelastic response [1], reached in the saturation region. The plastic anisotropy is modeled by implementing the yield surface and the flow rule as a function of the structural tensor [2]. Furthermore, the capability of the model to simulate the behavior of textile membranes under non‐proportional cyclic loading is investigated. For this purpose, a fitting procedure to identify the elastic and plastic parameters is presented.
