Abstract

AbstractPatent ductus arteriosus‐associated infective endarteritis (PDA‐IE) is an extremely rare complication of PDA in recent years. In this report, we describe a case of PDA‐IE complicated by septic pulmonary embolism who was successfully treated with only antibiotics.
