Abstract
There is growing evidence that telecollaboration has contributed to fostering intercultural awareness and intercultural (communicative) competence, including intercultural citizenship and critical (inter)‐cultural language awareness. This entry reviews recent literature and provides insights into best‐practice examples of telecollaboration. Specific guidelines for effective telecollaborations are provided.
