Abstract

Abstract A case is described of a diaphragmatic hernia associated with a left pericardial defect and hamartoma of the liver. The possible embryological origin of the first two defects from premature closure of the duct of Cuvier is discussed. The radiographic changes of the absent pericardium are mentioned and the histology of the liver hamartoma is described.
