A sterile ‘Use-Once’ clip applicator for skin closure

Abstract

Abstract A sterile disposable applicator for skin clips has been used for the closure of skin incisions in 117 consecutive operations. These have included most of the standard incisions in the head, neck, trunk, and limbs. The instrument has proved satisfactory in use, the skin incisions having healed satisfactorily with much time having been saved in their closure.
