Abstract

Abstract A method of removal of retained common bile duct stones under radiological control is described and its use in 16 patients reported. The case of the method, the minimal associated morbidibity and the inexpensiveness of the equipment suggest that this should be the primary method of removal of retained stones when a T tube has been placed into the common bile duct.
