Abstract
Abstract
Two cases of ureteric obstruction and anuria are described. Each case was due to disseminated malignant disease. One patient had an ovarian and I a vesical origin. Each patient was treated by extraperitoneal ureterolysis, temporary proximal drainage, and subsequent chemotherapy. Recovery of ureteric function and a period of useful survival were achieved in each case. The use of renography and the place of surgical treatment in malignant ureteric obstruction are briefly discussed.
