Abstract
A 15-year retrospective study of 713 patients having surgical treatment for peptic ulcer was carried out. A comparison of gastrectomy with vagotomy and drainage was made. The ways in which other factors may affect the outcome were also studied.
The results are discussed and some conclusions drawn.
