Abstract
Abstract
A semi-automated method has been devised for the separation of viable human peripheral blood lymphocytes from standard units of donor blood. The tech- nique is based on the carbonyl iron method (Levine, 1956; Cassen, Hitt, and Hays, 1958), but using a continuous-flow system. Lymphocytes harvested by this technique have been used in the production of heterologous antilymphocytic serum (ALS).
